Führungspositionen sind in unseren Projektgebieten, in den Länderbüros und am Schweizer Hauptsitz zu besetzen. Ihr Aufgabengebiet ist unterschiedlich. In der Regel werden folgende Punkte jedoch vorausgesetzt:
- Führen von verschiedenen Teams
- Umgang mit unsicheren Gebieten
- Fähigkeit, verschiedene Interessensgruppen zu koordinieren
- Entwicklung und Steuerung von Kernstrategien
- Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten im Bereich Projektmanagement
- Fähigkeit, Projekte erfolgreich zu überwachen und zu evaluieren
Current opportunities
Roving Country Director (CD) Remote
ROC Required
The Roving CD provides interim senior leadership cover in establishedprograms or new emergency responses. They lead in program and supportactivities, including donor relations, grant management, externalrepresentation, legal compliance, and project implementation. They work closelywith the senior management team in country and are part of the Global EmergencyResponse Team (G-ERT) and the International Department of GSO.
Project Coordinator
ROC Required
The Project Coordinator manages the implementation and coordination of the designated field projects. Providing leadership, strategic direction, management and evaluation of all aspects of the Medair projects, the Project Coordinator also plays a key role in liaison with local authorities and other relevant stakeholders, team leadership and security management.
Country Director
ROC Required
The Country Director oversees all programme and support activities in-country. Representing Medair in all issues relating to the country programme, the Country Director plays a key role in donor relations and manages the country strategy and the project implementation in conjunction with senior field managers.
Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator manages the implementation and coordination of the designated field projects. Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises. When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
