Onze communicatie-, fondsenwervings- en media-afdeling speelt een sleutelrol in het contact met de achterban van Medair en stimuleert hen om te geven en te bidden voor ons werk wereldwijd. Als onderdeel van dit team werk je samen met andere experts voor het werven van grote fondsen en subsidies voor ons werk.

We zoeken creatieve professionals die...

  • een bachelor of master hebben in communicatie, marketing, journalistiek, fondsenwerving, fotografie en/of audiovisuele producties.
  • goed zijn in het spreken in het openbaar, schijven, netwerken en storytelling.
  • bij voorkeur ervaring hebben in perscontacten, schrijven van voorstellen, social media, fondsenwerving, online marketing en het werken met CRM (het liefst Salesforce).
  • getraind zijn in  projectmanagement, budgetbeheer, het aansturen en trainen van collega’s.
  • in staat zijn informatie te verzamelen, te beoordelen en te priotiseren.

Philanthropy Advisor

ROC Required
Responsible for fundraising with Major Donors in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. In collaboration with the rest of Engagement team, support Medair’s mission by consolidating and cultivating current portfolio of Major Donors and acquiring new ones, upgrading of key middle donors, developing an extensive network, creating and leveraging partnerships and increasing visibility.

Marketing Assistant

ROC Required
The Marketing Assistant will help execute strategies and key initiatives to drive Donor Retention & Acquisition effectiveness and success. This role will partner with Mass and Middle relationship advisor to roll out campaigns that nurture or attract (new) donors. The person will be involved in the engagement team and will contribute to achieve overall Engagement objectives of raising funds.

Partnerships Manager

ROC Required
Research new funding sources, prepare specific bids, proposals and reports for submission to institutional donors as well as donor relationship management and maintenance of appropriate information systems. Provide strategic support, monitor, review and evaluate all aspects of Medair programmes.

Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises. When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
