Onze communicatie-, fondsenwervings- en media-afdeling speelt een sleutelrol in het contact met de achterban van Medair en stimuleert hen om te geven en te bidden voor ons werk wereldwijd. Als onderdeel van dit team werk je samen met andere experts voor het werven van grote fondsen en subsidies voor ons werk.
Our profile
We zoeken creatieve professionals die...
- een bachelor of master hebben in communicatie, marketing, journalistiek, fondsenwerving, fotografie en/of audiovisuele producties.
- goed zijn in het spreken in het openbaar, schijven, netwerken en storytelling.
- bij voorkeur ervaring hebben in perscontacten, schrijven van voorstellen, social media, fondsenwerving, online marketing en het werken met CRM (het liefst Salesforce).
- getraind zijn in projectmanagement, budgetbeheer, het aansturen en trainen van collega’s.
- in staat zijn informatie te verzamelen, te beoordelen en te priotiseren.
Current opportunities
Senior Donor Relationship Officer
ROC Required
In collaboration with the Engagement team, maintain, sustain and develop Medair’s donor relationships with Swiss and global mass and middle donors, being “the voice of the donor” providing optimal and timely donor customer care service (including “thank you management”), thus helping increase credibility and loyalty.
Philanthropy and Partnerships Intern - Zurich, Switzerland

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Intern supports fundraising efforts in Medair. They help identify potential donors and partners, assist in creating funding proposals, marketing materials, and organizing donor meetings or events. The role includes maintaining administrative records and supporting campaign execution as well as helping manage donor portfolios alongside Philanthropy team mates.

Apply to our Relief & Recovery Orientation Course
Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises. When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
