Medair: where faith meets action

For over 35 years, Medair has been responding to the world's most forgotten humanitarian crises. As a Christian relief and recovery organisation, we bring life-saving care to families devastated by conflict, disaster, and disease in some of the hardest-to-reach places on earth.

Just as the Psalmodie singers express their faith through music that uplifts and inspires, Medair expresses the same faith through humanitarian action: bringing health, hope, and dignity to those who have lost everything.

Since 1989, we've served millions of people regardless of race, creed, or nationality, motivated by our Christian faith to love our neighbours in their darkest hour. In 2024, 88.9% of Medair’s expenditures were directed toward humanitarian activities, helping 3,753,284 people in need.

At the height of a rapidly escalating cholera outbreak in Unity State, South Sudan, Medair deployed the Emergency Response Team quickly to help contain the spread in Leer County.
