Wir suchen qualifizierte Fachkräfte, die...
- einen Abschluss (Bachelor oder Master) in den Bereichen Humanitäre Logistik, Supply-Chain-Management, Ingenieurwesen, Verfahrenstechnik, Betriebswirtschaft oder einem verwandten Fachbereich besitzen.
- über Erfahrung verfügen in der Beschaffung und Lagerung von Gütern, der Überwachung von Einrichtungen, in der Sicherheit sowie der Planung von Reisen und Transporten (idealerweise im Bereich Not- oder Entwicklungshilfe).
- vorzugsweise gute Kenntnisse der internationalen humanitären Richtlinien besitzen und bereits mit institutionellen Geldgebern gearbeitet haben.
- über eine Ausbildung und Know-how im Projektmanagement, der Budgetierung und der Personalführung verfügen, insbesondere in der Ausbildung, Schulung und Förderung von Mitarbeitenden.

Logistics Manager

The Logistics Manager oversees the provision of the logistical support for the programme. The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring an effective supply chain is in place at all times, and that standard logistics and related administrative systems are established and implemented within Medair country programmes. The role provides strategic direction, management and evaluation of all aspects of logistics, ensuring relevant information, reporting and accountability requirements are met. The Logistics Manager also plays an important role in external representation, legal compliance, team leadership and capacity building of logistics staff.

Country Director

Medair’s Global Emergency Response Team (G-ERT) deployed to Chad in January 2024 with the objective of re-enacting country registration, establishing relationships with government authorities, donor agencies, UN partners and NGOs, and becoming operational again due to the ongoing displacement crisis. Medair worked in Chad previously in 2012-14 in health, nutrition and WASH. The Country Director role will assess gaps and priorities, together with seeking out institutional funding, to re-establish Medair’s presence in Chad.

Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises. When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
