Unit 4 Finance System Administrator

The Unit 4 Finance Systems Administrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the Unit 4 ERPX software. This technical position is responsible for configuring and managing security roles, data access, and system workflows to ensure optimal performance and user accessibility. The administrator will also handle the creation and adaptation of new configurations, including flexi-fields, parameters, and reports, ensuring that the system evolves with Medair’s needs. Addressing technical issues, such as errors and bugs, is a critical function, alongside the development of technical documentation for all configurations.

Senior Global Emergency Response Team Officer

The Senior Global Emergency Response Team (G-ERT) Officer is available for immediate deployment for emergency response operations to provide team leadership and in-county coordination, linking with donors and partner organisations, designing of strategy, and ensuring overall quality and execution of response in immediate phases. The Senior G-ERT Officer also serves as a main focal point in the emergency location, ensures effective communication with Global Support Office (GSO). Global Emergency Response Team Officer (CVA & NFI)

The Global Emergency Response Team (G-ERT) CVA & NFI Officer is available for immediate deployment for emergency response operations to assess, design, set-up, and manage Medair’s cash and voucher assistance (CVA) and Non-Food items (NFI) interventions. This involves initial assessments, modality decisions, engaging with working groups and other actors, designing the project(s), setting-up and managing a project team in CVA or NFI, contributing to proposals, and effectively managing and reporting on the project. The G-ERT team member will also be available to be deployed to established country programs to support with the implementation or training of CVA and NFI programming. Part of the role will also be to support CVA and NFI preparedness for emergency responses.

Roving Project Support Manager

ROC Required
The Roving Project Support Manager is key to the efficient and effective running of operations in the area to which they are assigned. This varied and challenging role involves covering for the support functions including the Project Support Manager, Human Resources Manager, Logistics Manager and Finance Manager. More specifically, this will involve coordinating and managing the main support functions including general administration, base management, finance, human resources, logistics and security. With line management responsibility for staff involved in support roles. Nutrition Coordinator

Actively participate to develop, support, monitor and evaluate the country emergency nutrition project(s), support the heath project managers in managing and reporting on the projects in line with the objectives, timeframe and budget with a focus on response to new crises requiring assessments and short-term interventions. Provide technical support, leadership and strategic direction, other important aspects of the role include managing and training nutrition staff to meet international quality standards, strength the nutrition sector in the existing program and work towards standardising nutrition programming in all Medair bases. Encourage beneficiary participation, liaise with other stakeholders, and anticipate, plan, and contribute to the development of new nutrition project proposals and reports.

Für die Arbeit in unseren Länderprogrammen setzen wir Berufserfahrung voraus. Auch sollten Sie in der Lage sein, sich für ein Jahr zu verpflichten. Aus diesem Grund bieten wir keine Praktika in unseren Länderprogrammen an. Dennoch würden wir uns freuen, wenn Sie sich nach Abschluss Ihres Studiums und dem Sammeln weiterer Berufserfahrung bewerben würden.

Wir bieten jedoch gelegentlich Praktika an unserem internationalen Hauptsitz in der Schweiz an, über die Sie hier mehr erfahren können. Kann ich mich bewerben, wenn ich keine Erfahrung in der humanitären Hilfe habe?

Angesichts der schwierigen Rahmenbedingungen, in denen wir arbeiten, ist es wichtig, dass unsere Mitarbeitenden mit der humanitären Arbeit vertraut sind, bevor sie in eines unserer Länderprogramme eintreten. Daher setzen wir für die Arbeit in unseren Länderprogrammen mindestens ein Jahr Berufserfahrung in ihrem Beruf und/oder Ihrem Studienfach voraus. Bei Personen, die ihr Studium gerade abgeschlossen haben, aber über umfangreiche Vorerfahrungen durch Praktika verfügen, können wir im Einzelfall eine Ausnahme machen. Hier erfahren Sie mehr über die wesentlichen Kriterien, die wir für die Arbeit in unseren Länderprogrammen voraussetzen.

Sind für die Arbeit bei Medair bestimmte Sprachkenntnisse erforderlich?

In einer multinationalen Organisation wie Medair werden zwar eine Vielzahl von Sprachen gesprochen. Englisch ist jedoch unsere Hauptarbeitssprache. Daher verlangt Medair, dass internationale Angestellte, deren Muttersprache nicht Englisch ist, über gute Englischkenntnisse (B2-Niveau) verfügen.
