Information Technology Services
Our Global Information Technology Services (GITS) department supports our field teams and Global Support Office by providing software, tools, and technology services that meet their unique needs. Our ITS staff often work in difficult contexts where infrastructure is underdeveloped or nonexistent. Together, they continue to implement new technologies that enable our field teams to deliver services more effectively and efficiently.
Our profile
We look for experienced professionals who...
- Hold a higher-level degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in the areas of Information Science, Computer Science, or another relevant study
- Have relevant work experience (preferably within the humanitarian sector) in Information Management, Business Intelligence, and/or IT Support and Infrastructure
- Are highly skilled at managing and maintaining hardware, and at collecting, managing, and reporting data
- Possess training and skills in project management, behavioural change management, business analysis, systems administration, budget management, and people management—especially the teaching and empowering of other staff

Digital Solutions & Engineering Team Leader, Switzerland or Lebanon
ROC Required
The role will lead the Digital Solutions and Engineering Team (DSE). This is a geographically disbursed team of data engineers, developers, application and business intelligence specialists who develop and support a range of standardised information management tools for use within Medair. Reporting to the Global IT Manager, the job holder will ideally have a strong background managing a technical IT Team, will have a strong technical understanding of data warehousing, integrations software and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should preferably have experience working in the Humanitarian or Development sectors.

Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises. When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
